In this activity, students learned about the elements of game design and then went on to design and produce their own games. Students worked in teams to create a variety of unique games and then took turns presenting their games and getting feedback from other classmates.

They started with pre-folded booklets made with these instructions. They then wrote their books. Some students chose to use mainly pictures, while others included words. After their books were done, covers were attached, and students decorated those as well.

The puppets were made by pasting images on to paper plates and cutting them out. The images were either taken from printouts or created from scratch. Wooden sticks were then attached to the plates.

Students really enjoyed this activity and did some pretty amazing puppet shows!

Eight teams took part, and seven of them had a standing tower at the end!
