As a part of this project, our community has begun collecting oral histories in both audio and video format. Here is what we’ve collected so far. Check back as we add more.
On Saturday, May 6, National Scrapbooking Day, a group of us got together to learn about scrapbooking from Joy Mendez. On December 8, 2016, 30 grade K-2 students at the Animas Schools made books. They started with pre-folded booklets made with these instructions. They then wrote their books. Some students chose to use mainly pictures, while others included words. After their books were done, covers were attached, and students decorated those as well.
